REVIEW: Eye Creams by Clarins, Dermalogica and Sensai

SENSAI Cellular Performance eye cream; Clarins Multi-Active Eye Cream; Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift

The expression “the eyes are the window to the soul” holds such beauty, yet sadly eyes are the first area to show signs of ageing. Luckily there are numerous eye products on the market to help with eye woes like dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles!

I’ve been super busy trying out these new ones on the market, and here’s what I thought:

DERMALOGICA Stress Positive Eye Lift

Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift has the consistency of a gel-cream, is white in colour, and is actually a leave-on or wash-off masque. I prefer leaving it on while sleeping because realistically it saves me hanging around for ten minutes before washing it off and I like to think the longer you leave it the better the results!

The applicator makes for easy application. How to use it? Dab on the top and bottom of eye area massaging gently around and over the lid in a lifting motion. I love the metal tip applicator as it glides easily over the eye area – in fact it’s quite therapeutic going round and round! Then take your fingers and gently massage in any extra cream. In the morning wash off excess and you’ll see brighter looking peepers!

CLARINS Multi Active Eye Cream

Clarins Multi-Active Eye

This product is packed with ingredients like aescin from horse chestnut to aid micro circulation, teasel extract to penetrate the fibroblast to repair and fight fatigue, caffeine to decrease puffiness by removing excess lipids, potent plant extracts to protect skin against external factors like pollution, and illuminating pigments to blur lines and wrinkles. Plus the Cryo-metal tip is cool to the touch and easy for gliding over skin to help with circulation, puffiness, soothing, calming and brightening skin.

CLARINS Multi-Active Eye Cream

Sensai Cellular Performance Extra Intensive Eye Cream

Advance Energy Charge Technology helps promote skin’s youth-maintaining mechanism, thanks to a blend of active ingredients that increase cellular turnover. The key ingredient, Advanced CPX Vital Extract, targets five skin concerns: wrinkles, dryness, dullness, sagging and fine lines.

How to use: Take a pea-size amount of cream and gently dab around the eye area. I absolutely loved using this deliciously rich cream where the results showed a vast improvement in texture and lines around the eyes.

This clip gives a quick round up on what women experienced after a week or two of using Sensai Cellular Performance Extra Intensive Eye cream.
