Renowned fashion designer Iris van Herpen has teamed up with French lingerie label Aubade for the Autumn 2022 capsule collection and we’re in love!
Previous designer collaborations with Aubade include Christian Lacroix, Viktor & Rolf and most recently, Karl Lagerfeld label for winter 2021.
Iris van Herpen takes her Inspiration from a botanical magical world “exploring its fragility as well as its pulsating vitality to create this unique collection.” The embroidery is synonymous with fluttering leaves decorating the curves of a female body. The ten-piece line includes four bra styles, three bottoms, a nightie, a bodysuit and a waist-cincher and is named ‘Sensory Illusion’.
The line is available from Inner Secrets in South Africa from December 2022, just in time for Christmas… yikes it is almost that time again! I’ll be spoiling myself this year round!
Bra sizes will run up to a G cup in certain styles, while bottoms will go from an XS to an XXL.

Dear Cathi – my friend Stephanie told me today of the sad death of Ian. I don’t know how else to get hold of you, as I don’t do Instagram or FB Messenger. My old husband Eric Malaisé met Ian when he first arrived in Johannesburg from Paris nearly 50 years ago. He has mild dementia now but remembers Ian well, and was terribly upset to hear the news. I send you and your children our condolences, and wish you long life. Very best wishes from Barbara and Eric Malaisé..
