A classic striped tee never goes out of style; think beyond the Breton top by adding stripes in different colours, textures and sizes for maximum impact to your wardrobe this season. Focus on one striped piece and work around that eg. a striped shirt worn with wide-legged denim or mini skirt and chunky loafers to create a wow factor from head to toe. Stripes are considered a neutral of prints so play with contrasting prints like florals for extra edge. How do I know my ensemble works? If colours look good together then often prints do too and, most importantly, if you feel confident and comfy, there’s your answer!
I scrolled some online sites to see what’s up for grabs – let me know if you’ve seen any lovelies also as I’m usually in my comfort zone of a horizontal striped tee paired with jeans, but as my day comprises of dressing models for online, I’m always up for new ideas and ‘inspa’ to take into the studio.
Scroll down and let me know what you think:
